Servers, Backup & Datacenter

Servers, storage and backups you can count on

From a single server in a closet to a full rack in a colocation facility, we handle hardware selection, virtualization, storage, monitoring and the backups that let you recover when something goes wrong.

Sound familiar?

Common problems we fix

  • Your server is old, out of warranty and nobody remembers how it was set up.
  • You’ve never actually tested restoring from a backup.
  • Storage keeps filling up and things are getting slow.
  • A power outage or failed drive would stop the business.

Frequently asked questions

Do we still need a server?

Many small businesses don’t, and the cloud handles email and files well. Some line-of-business apps, large files or cost goals still favor local hardware. We’ll give you a straight answer.

How often should backups be tested?

At least quarterly, and after any major change. An untested backup is a guess.

Can you take over a server nobody documented?

Yes. We regularly inherit undocumented systems. We audit them, document them and stabilize them first.
